Order Processing, Delivery & Returns Policy

ORDER PROCESSING

When you visit the Casa Vita site we want the experience to be just as visual as if you were in a retail outlet, and we have taken the care to make the site as user friendly as possible, allowing you to negotiate the various product sections easily whilst viewing high quality images with close up views and product information and pricing to make the buying decision much easier.

Once you have identified the item or items you intend to purchase, you will be taken to the shopping cart function where there will be only a few additional questions needed before proceeding to the secure payment section. Casa Vita has invested in SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypted technology so your information is safe, confidential and secure.

All the payment processing, approval and notifications are handled by the NAB through their secure Transact MOTO payment solution. This is a secure link to that bank and the NAB is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant for our protection. The NAB also takes your security seriously with secure 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption.

When the payment has been approved and processed by the NAB they will notify Casa Vita that we can arrange shipment of the goods to you.

We gladly accept Mastercard and Visa or online banking direct debit as forms of payment. Sorry but we do not accept other credit cards at this time, however we may review and update this position sometime in the future.

It is difficult for our system to have orders raised with multiple delivery addresses. It would really be appreciated if you could raise one order per delivery address. Thank you for your co-operation.

BUSINESS HOURS

Our business operates Monday through to Friday, 9am until 5pm daily EST, which means that unfortunately we are unable to ship your orders over weekends or on public holidays. We also close during the Christmas and New Year festive season so please endeavor to place your orders working around these times and dates as we do not wish to disappointment anyone. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

If products are in stock they will normally be dispatched within 2-3 working days and should arrive within 5 business days to your door. We will attempt to keep the stock levels shown on our website up to the minute; however multiple orders for remaining stock levels can occasionally come in before we get a chance to raise the original order on our system. When this happens, the first order registered on the system will be processed and the customer who is not successful will be notified by email and given the choice to select another line that is in stock, or in the worst case, to arrange to cancel the order.

Casa Vita regularly orders and imports our authentic Italian products; however deliveries from this area of the world can take up to 12 weeks from manufacture to landing here in Australia. Backorders therefore will be difficult to manage. We recommend you revisit the website to see if there is another item that may be suitable, as we have an extensive range of quality Italian linen products to choose from.

DELIVERY CHARGES – AUSTRALIA

Casa Vita uses the Australia Post E-Parcel service for all deliveries within Australia as they provide an excellent low cost reliable service to all addresses including post boxes. To help us cover our administration, shipping, handling and packing cost there will be a need to include a $20 freight and handling fee including GST (per delivery address) to each order where the total invoice value is under $500 including GST. For orders $500 and over, including GST, this freight and handling fee will be waved.

Naturally to make sure the order has arrived and into your hands, it is best if all orders are signed for upon delivery. Australia Post will leave a notice for collection card with details of how to collect your delivery if you are not there to sign for your order. You will usually need proper identification when signing for the goods at the Post Office.

NEW ZEALAND DELIVERIES

Our exclusive agreement includes for orders to come from New Zealand. Orders will be processed in A$ and the 10% GST will be removed from the invoice value. Customer Service will contact you with a quote for delivery charges. Overseas deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes which will remain the customer’s responsibility. Casa Vita cannot accept the additional liability for any import duties, taxes or customs charged placed on the goods at the point of import. All additional costs are to be covered by the NZ customer.

OUR GUARANTEE

You agree to be bound by the terms of the returns policy set out in the "Delivery & Returns" section of this Site. The liability of Casa Vita Homewares with respect to returns is limited as expressed in this section and generally in these Terms and Conditions.

It is important to us that you enjoy your Casa Vita shopping experience and that the product meets with your approval on receipt. We want nothing more than for you to be completely satisfied with every item you purchase from us and to recommend us to all of your family, friends and associates.

If by chance this perfect experience is not possible, then we understand and within 14 days of receipt of your product returned by post at your expense, we can action the return policy and offer you a full refund, excluding the freight and handling portion. The only proviso is that the item/s must be returned within 14 days of dispatch, with a copy of the proof of purchase and the article/s must be in original perfect condition, unused, unwashed and not ironed. Please be mindful that we will not be able to, under any circumstance, exchange or offer a credit note on items that are not in perfect condition.

The post office will issue a “certificate of postage” free of charge when you are returning goods and we recommend you arrange this as we cannot accept liability for goods that are not successfully returned.

If for some reason the item has a fault we would appreciate your support with a written explanation so we can conduct a full review and inspect the goods on return.

You can also return the item for exchange or select a different item of the same value, or purchase a new item using the credit value as part of the new purchase, provided the above conditions are met. We ask that you contact us immediately on 0423 489 907 (business hours) to ensure that we can offer the right level of support and try to address your needs correctly.
